To give you peace of mind, we offer two protection options you can add to your rental.
Liability Reduction Option (LRO) – 50% Excess Reduction
LRO reduces your financial liability by 50% for covered accidental damage.
How It Works
When you add LRO to your rental:
- Your excess amount is reduced by half.
- If damage occurs, you only pay 50% of the applicable excess instead of the full amount.
This option is ideal if you want added protection while keeping the add-on cost lower.
Super Liability Reduction Option (SLRO) – RM0 Excess
SLRO is our highest level of protection, reducing your excess to RM0 for covered incidents.

How It Works
When SLRO is added:
- Your financial liability for covered damage is reduced to zero.
- You will not need to pay excess charges, provided rental terms are followed.
Covered Incidents Include:
- Scratches, dents, and collision damage
- Windscreens, windows, mirrors, and lights
- Wheels and tyres (including punctures)
- Underbody damage
- Theft or attempted theft (with police report)
- Fire, vandalism, flood, storm, hail, and extreme weather
- Lost or damaged vehicle keys
- Towing and roadside assistance
With SLRO, if accidental damage happens during your rental, you won’t pay out of pocket for repair excess. We handle the process, giving you maximum peace of mind.
What’s Not Covered (Applies to Both Options)
- Interior damage (seats, dashboard, upholstery)
- Clutch damage due to misuse
- Misfuelling
- Driving under the influence
- Unauthorized drivers
- Commercial use (delivery, racing, ride-hailing)
- Breach of rental terms
- Failure to lodge a police report within 24 hours (for accidents or theft)
How to Purchase LRO or SLRO
Adding protection to your booking is simple and done during the booking process:
- Select your preferred pickup & return date and time.
- Choose the vehicle you would like to rent.
- Click “Book Now.”
- You will then see the protection options available:
